This course is developed by the Office of Research Innovation and Economic Development (ORIED) and the Office of Innovative Technologies (OIT).
In this training, you will learn:
- What is Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and regulatory frameworks (DFARS, NIST SP 800-171) that govern how it must be protected.
- How to recognize security responsibilities and risks associated with handling CUI.
- How to use CMMC compliant systems and what are authorized data transfer methods.
- How to identify and report potential CUI incidents and insider threat indicators.
